Is there an extra charge for same-day service?

We do not charge a premium for same-day service when it is available. The diagnostic fee and repair costs are the same regardless of when the appointment is scheduled. The only factor is whether we have an opening on the current day.

Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?

Our regular hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM. We do not currently offer 24/7 or after-hours service for residential calls. For commercial customers with urgent equipment failures, we can sometimes arrange off-hours service — call to discuss.

What should I do while waiting for the technician?

For a leaking washer, turn off the water supply valves behind the machine. For a refrigerator not cooling, avoid opening the doors to preserve cold air. For a gas appliance you suspect is leaking gas, turn off the gas supply, open windows, and leave the house — then call the gas company and 911 before calling us.

What if you cannot come today?

If same-day is not available, we will schedule the earliest possible appointment — usually the next business day. For urgent refrigerator situations, we will give you tips to preserve food in the meantime (coolers with ice, not opening the doors, etc.).

• It is not a Monday or the day after a holiday (our busiest days)

Possible but not guaranteed

• You call in the early afternoon
• Your location is on the outer edge of our service area
• It is a busy season (summer is the peak for refrigerator calls in Naples)

Unlikely for same-day

• You call after 3 PM
• It is a Saturday afternoon
• Sunday (we are closed)
• The problem is clearly going to require a part we need to order

What Qualifies as an Urgent Appliance Repair?

Not every broken appliance is an emergency, but some situations genuinely warrant urgent attention. Here are the scenarios where we recommend calling for same-day service rather than scheduling for later in the week:

Refrigerator or Freezer Not Cooling

In Naples's heat, a refrigerator that stops cooling can push food into the danger zone within hours. If your fridge is warm and you have perishable food inside, this is a legitimate urgent situation. Keep the doors closed as much as possible until we arrive — a closed refrigerator can hold safe temperatures for about four hours.

Washer or Dishwasher Flooding

Active water leaks from a washer or dishwasher can damage flooring, subfloor, and adjacent rooms quickly. Turn off the water supply valves behind the machine immediately, then call us. If you cannot find the shut-off valves, turn off the main water supply to the house.

Gas Smell from an Appliance

If you smell gas near your range, oven, or dryer, this is a safety issue — not just a repair issue. Turn off the gas supply if you can do so safely, ventilate the area, evacuate the house, and call your gas company and 911 first. Once the area is confirmed safe, call us for the appliance repair.

Only Washer or Dryer and No Laundromat Access

For families with infants or young children, a broken washer can become urgent quickly. While not a safety emergency, we understand the practical urgency and will try to prioritize your call.
